As most of you know, we really enjoy planning parties. We’ve arranged wedding and anniversary excursions that included about 50 friends and family members from all over the country, creating a fun mix of nice people. Regardless of when you came into our lives, our 35th celebration will be a fun way to share time with friends and, hopefully, an opportunity to make new ones!

1988 : Nancy and Dennis got married at Grand Canyon, AZ, joined by 48 friends and family. With 6 inches of snow overnight, it meant we got married in the lodge instead of out on the rim. It worked out anyway.

1993 : For our 5th anniversary, about 35 friends attended our 5-day party in Santa Fe, NM. We visited a pueblo, attending a cooking class, listened to a Native American poet, went rafting, and ate a lot.

1998 : For our 10th, we hosted the big shindig in Jackson Hole, WY. With 45 people, we needed buses to move our group around. We visited Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, went on a horseback ride that climbed 3000 feet (ouch!), had a wagon train ride, and dinner with a cowboy poet.

2013 : We got busy with our bed & breakfast and other things for some years, so we didn’t do another until our 25th in 2013, when we went with a dozen of our friends on an Alaskan cruise.

2018 : For our 30th Anniversary, 25 people joined us in Colorado Springs, CO, for 4 days of adventures including: a wolf sanctuary, the U.S. Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge Train and Bridge, and more.
